I've tried survive on one arm and sauvage on the other to compare.In the opening there quite similar with Dior been a bit sweeter both lasting around an hour on my skin. in the dry down and base of survive I mostly get ambroxan and pepper that lasts as a close skin scent for around 6-7 hour's.in sauvage the dry down was nicer as I could smell the lavender more but was a skin scent after an hour that I could smell for around 8 hour's.even though survive and Dior sauvage have listings of the same note's I feel that sauvage has better quality ingredients and is better blended even though survive is an EDP survive is still a great fragrance and very cheap defiantly worth a try.
